handsome blade. Notice how the stained wood inserts pop with color against the
grays in the Damascus or how you can see the beautiful wood grain. Damascus
steel is used throughout the piece from tip to end. Damascus is world renowned
for its lovely patterns almost reminiscent of flowing water. It is also known
for its strength and its ability to retain an edge. The Damascus steel blade
has been tempered around 54 to 55 with 176 layers. To top this amazing knife
off a handmade leather sheath with belt loop is included.
